At the pre party, TROMP Percussion × La Maquina brings something you won’t hear anywhere else. La Maquina is a percussion ensemble working with ‘Rhythm with Signs’, a system of over 120 gestures used to compose music in real time. Guided by a conductor, evolving grooves and layered textures take shape on the spot, making every performance its own thing where rhythm and movement feed off each other.
