Choreographer Shailesh Bahoran explores the universality of the mystical in Mystic. How can something in different cultures, at different times, in different places, and among various people evoke the same experience?
With a background in hip-hop culture, Shailesh Bahoran embarks on an adventure with ICK Dans Amsterdam, working alongside dancers from the ensemble who have a classical/contemporary background. Cross-pollination is also sought in the music and the spiritual elements of the culture of the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra. Six musicians perform live during the show.
